BREAKFAST CLUB
  • On Mondays and Wednesdays, the lovely Mercedes comes in and teaches Spanish to the children.
7:30 – 8:00 Free play – a choice of games, arts and crafts, a huge variety of toys, xbox Kinect, out in the garden, and much more

 

8:00 – 8:30

Breakfast time – all children sit together, and have a huge choice of breakfast, including toast and spreads, cereal and make your own muesli, as well as a hot option each day, including beans/spaghetti/sausage and beans on toast, crumpets, croissants, sausage sandwiches but to name a few things! As well as this, the children can help themselves to fruit juice, milk, and water.
8:30 – 8:45 Free play
8:45 Tidy up time
8:50 School children get walked over to Stoke st Gregory Primary school.
PRESCHOOL
9:00 Start of the preschool session.
9.00 – 9.10 Settling in and free play
9.10 – 9.30 Circle time, register, showing time and talking about the plan for the day ahead.
9.30 – 10.00 Snack time
10.00 – 10.15 Key time

 

10.15 – 11.00

Free flow play inside and out in the garden, topical activities are done alongside i.e. small groups are called up to participate with an adult-led activity that links in with the topic of the term.
11.00 – 11.10 Tidy up time
11.10 – 11.40 Outside activity e.g. bikes and cars or sports equipment
11.45 – 12.00 Story time and singing
12.00 Home time for morning session
12.00 – 12.30 Lunch time
12.30 – 1.00 Chill out time and TV (some of the younger children may have a sleep)
1.00 – 1.10 Teeth brushing time
1.10 – 1.50 Free flow play inside and outside
1.50 – 2.00 Tidy up time
2.00 – 2.40 Outside activity e.g. bikes and cars or sports equipment
2.45 – 3.00 Story time and singing
3.00 Home time end of preschool session
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
3.00 – 3.15 Free play for the children that are staying
3.15 School children collected from Stoke St Gregory Primary school
3.15 – 3.50 Free play – a choice of games, arts and crafts, a huge variety of toys, xbox Kinect, out in the garden, and much more.
3.50 – 4.00 Tidy up time and getting ready for tea
 4.00 – 4:40 Tea time – all children sit together to enjoy a snack tea, examples include jacket potatoes, pasta, soup, pizza and salad, Spanish potatoes, Spaghetti Bolognese, cheese and crackers, fresh fruit, homemade cakes, biscuits.
4.40 – 6:00 Finishing off activities, free play or watching DVD. If good weather then outside play on the climbing frame and field.
6.00 End of day.
